I am a white novelist with a keen interest in celebrity, unlikely lovers (a hair-metal rocker and a lesbian blueswoman, a pitcher and a catcher), and all shades of Blackness. I write literary fiction with a spot of genre-bending. My latest is a dystopia called The One-Way Rain, which is self-published but still quite good; you should read it. I belong to the Boston Knapsack Anti-Racism Group, and I run a workshop called Race & Fiction Writing which welcomes new members. I make my living as a freelance bookkeeper, so if you have books that need keeping—or anything else you want to talk to me about—contact me here.
